This is Cavolfiore con olive, it belongs to Italian cuisine. You may serve it as main course or side-dish, it is tasty and substantial, very nice dish.
- water : 0.5 cup
- garlic : 1 clove
- onion : 1 piece
- olive oil : 2 Tbsp
- salt : 1 tsp (per taste)
- black pepper : 0.5 tsp (per taste)
- canned tomatoes : 200 g
- green olives : 100 g
- cauliflower : 750 g
Stages of cooking
Rinse and cut cauliflower, pour water in a pan and bring to a boil. Throw cauliflower in boiled water and cook until it is half ready.
Pour off the water, in the same pan heat olive oil. Peel and cut garlic and inion, fry until they are soft.
Add canned tomatoes, salt and black pepper per taste. Cook 5 minutes.
Now throw green olives.
Add cauliflower and little water, cook 15-20 minutes or until cauliflower is soft.
Serve hot. Enjoy!
