Chickpea truffles are another glorious dish to taste, and we can assure you that you will hardly realize that it is actually made of chickpea. Make each day count by testing this new recipe that smells like coffee and cocoa and tastes like the best thing you’ve ever eaten. Soak the dry chickpea in water for 12 hours (preferably, for the night).
Strain the water, pour fresh water and boil chickpea for one hour. Do not add salt! Then let the boiled chickpea cool down and measure 150 g of the product. Brew coffee, measure 30 ml of it as well. Wait until the coffee cools down. Wash the dried plums and soak them in cognac for 30 minutes.
Blend the chickpea with coffee, maple syrup and the rest of the cognac. Mix the mass with shredded coconut, cocoa powder and chopped dried plums.
Mix everything well. If needed, add more maple syrup, shredded coconut and sugar powder to make the truffels sweeter. Place the mass into the fridge for 2 hours.
Form small balls and place them into the freezer for 1-2 hours again.
Dredge the truffels with the rest of the shredded coconut, cocoa powder and waffles. Then place them into the fridge again. You can leave them there for the whole night for better result. That’s it! Your tasty and healthy dessert is now ready! Enjoy!
