Sweet-savory dish made of chicken fillet and sweet pepper, stewed in a thick soy sauce and wine vinegar. Optionally, you can add red hot peppers to make the dish spicy, as well as grated ginger.
- chicken breasts : 300 g
- sweet pepper : 150 g
- garlic : 2 clove
- soy sauce : 5 Tbsp
- water : 5 Tbsp
- wine vinegar : 2 Tbsp
- sugar : 1 Tbsp
- starch : 1 tsp
- salt : 1 tsp (or less)
- olive oil : 2 Tbsp
Stages of cooking
Chicken fillet cut into small narrow strips. Salt.
Cut pepper into thin strips.
Peel and chop the garlic.
Mix soy sauce, water, vinegar, sugar, starch.
Fry the chicken pieces on both sides in a preheated pan during 2-4 minutes.
Then put pepper and garlic in the pan, and fry for a couple of minutes.
Reduce heat, return fried chicken to the pan.
Pour in the sauce, mix and cook for 10-15 minutes until the meat is completely cooked and the sauce thickens.
Serve with rice!
