Classic indian recipe Pallac Paneer with spinach is  a light, tender and very healthy vegetarian dish.

Ingredients

  • paneer : 200 g
  • spinach : 500 g
  • ginger : 2 tsp
  • oil : 3.5 Tbsp
  • onion : 2 piece
  • cumin : 1 pinch
  • tomato paste : 3 Tbsp
  • garlic : 2 clove
  • salt : 1 tsp

  1. Cut panir into small squares.

  2. Сhop the spinach, ginger, onion and garlic.

  3. Pour 50 ml of water into the stew-pan, put spinach and ginger, simmer for 3-4 minutes over medium heat. Tilt to a sieve to get rid of excess moisture, then send the vegetables to a blender and chop them until smooth.

  4. Heat oil in a pan, add onions and fry for about 5 minutes until golden. Add cumin and garlic, fry for another 30 seconds, add tomato paste or puree, cook for 5 minutes. Salt to taste.

  5. Add the paneer, gently mix, add the spinach puree and cook for another 2 minutes.
