Stages of cooking

  1. Wash chicken breasts and sprinkle them with salt. Remove the tenderloin and cut each chicken breast into 3 pieces equal in size. Coat each piece with olive oil. Put each piece of meat between two pieces of kitchen film or parchment paper and pound them with a mallet or a rolling pin to make them thinner. Repeat the same step with the tenderloin pieces you have removed.

  2. Take a large sauté pan, add olive oil and heat it a bit. Add butter and melt it. Then add pieces of chicken, brown them on both sides for a couple of minutes. Remove the pieces from the sauté pan and set them aside for a while.

  3. Now, it’s high time to cook the sauce. Fry the sliced shallots on medium heat until they become soft. This will take around 5-7 minutes.

  4. Then add white wine and cook until it evaporates. Add water, Dijon mustard and dried thyme. Cook until the sauce is reduced by half.

  5. Lower the heat a bit and add chicken pieces into a pan. Coat them with the sauce and add the cream. Remove the pan from fire and season with salt, black pepper and spices to your taste.

  6. Serve with rice, noodles, mashed potatoes, celery puree or any other side dish or vegetables you like. Enjoy!
