Easy Italian Pasta with Cherry Tomato Sauce recipe for dinner or lunch. You need only a few ingredients to please your loved ones with gourmet cuisine.


  • cherry tomatoes : 200 g
  • chicken broth : 1 cup (may be replaced with water)
  • garlic : 2 clove
  • oregano : 1 Tbsp (fresh oregano)
  • parmesan : 5 Tbsp (grated)
  • pasta : 400 g (PENNE RIGATE is used in the recipe)
  • olive oil : 2 Tbsp
  • salt : 0.5 tsp

Stages of cooking

  1. Put the cherry, olive oil and garlic, in a heated stewpan. Salt and fry for a couple of minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly.

  2. As the garlic reddens and tomatoes begin to burst, pour in chicken broth. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.

  3. Add oregano (and / or other herbs to taste).

  4. Crush with blender until smooth.

  5. Pour water into a large saucepan. Salt and boil the Penne Rigate pasta. Drain for a couple of minutes until ready. Season with tomato sauce and salt to taste.

  6. Stir until a part of the sauce is absorbed.

  7. Put on a plate. Add parmesan.
