  • water: 1 litre
  • sugar: 0.5 cup
  • salt: 2 Tbsp
  • oil: 0.5 cup

  • fennel: 4 bunch (dried or fresh)

  1. Let’s start with preparing the ingredients first to keep them at hand while cooking.

  2. Wash the bell pepper and remove the seeds. Slice it into thin strips. Boil water, add salt, sugar, oil and vinegar. Add the sliced bell pepper into the water and let it boil for about 15 minutes.

  3. Remove the bell pepper from the marinade, let it cool down a bit and add pressed garlic to your taste. Then add chopped fennel.
