Children as well as adults often do not like oatmeal, considering it too simple and not quite tasty. If you think the same way as well, try cooking oatmeal baked with apples! Your loved ones will surely be surprised with the result – so delicious, unusual and, what really matters, healthy the dish is!
Mix butter, egg yolks, sugar and lemon zest well.
Add milk, oat flakes, starch, yeast powder and mix everything well.
Cut one apple into small pieces.
Add to the dough.
Take the second apple and remove the middle part of it. Cut it into circles.
Butter the baking form.
Whip egg whites with salt to get dense foam. Add to the dough.
Spoon the dough into the baking form and decorate with apple circles. Bake in the oven at 170 C (338 F) for about 25 minutes. This oatmeal will be a nutritious and healthy breakfast both for kids and adults. Enjoy the dish!
