  • flour: 2 cup
  • sugar: 1 cup
  • baking powder: 2 Tbsp
  • ginger: 0.5 Tbsp (ground)
  • nutmeg: 0.5 Tbsp (ground)
  • carrot: 1 cup (grated)
  • vanilla essence: 0.5 Tbsp
  • egg: 2 piece
  • yogurt: 4 Tbsp (natural)
  • milk: 0.5 cup
  • vegetable oil: 0.5 cup

  1. Grease and flour the pan. This takes some time and effort, so, it is better to do this in advance.

  2. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, ground ginger, vanilla essence or ground nutmeg in a bowl.

  7. Bake in the pre-heated to 180 C (356 F) oven for about 50 minutes until it becomes light brown.
