- skinless, boneless chicken thighs: 3 piece (cut into cubes)
- skinless, boneless chicken breast half: 1 piece (cut into cubes)
- water: 6 cups
- condensed cream of chicken soup: 1 can (10.5 ounce can)
- cubes chicken bouillon: 3 piece
- poultry seasoning: 1 tsp
- milk: 0.75 cup
- ½ cups all-purpose baking mix (such as Bisquick®): 1 piece

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir until they begin to soften, about 3 minutes. Add chicken; cook and stir until no longer pink in the center, about 10 minutes. Add water, condensed soup, bouillon cubes, and poultry seasoning; stir to combine. Increase the heat to medium-high and bring to a simmer.
