Stages of cooking
-
Pre-heat the oven to 180 C (350 F). While the oven is heating, take a baking pan, cover it with tinfoil and lay soda crackers as it is shown on the photo. The crackers should cover the entire baking pan.
-
Take a small pot and mix butter, baking soda and brown sugar in it. Warm the ingredients on medium fire.
-
Start stirring the mixture as soon as the butter starts melting. Do not distract from the process. Otherwise, the sugar may burn.
-
In several minutes, your caramel sauce will become golden. Keep stirring the caramel until it becomes light brown.
-
Now, pour the caramel onto the crackers and spread it carefully with a spoon.
-
Put the baking pan into the heated oven for about 10 minutes. The readymade dish should look like the one on the photo.
-
Dredge the dish with chocolate chips, while it is still hot. As soon as they start melting, spread the chocolate over the pie.
-
Then leave the dish to cool down and put it in the freezer for several hours. Finally, break the candies with your hands and enjoy their wonderful taste!
