This simple yet delicious recipe is perfect for a summertime appetizer or light meal. Juicy ripe tomatoes, sliced fresh garlic, and fragrant basil are mixed with olive oil and vinegar, then piled onto crusty slices of toasted baguette.   • ripe tomatoes: 4 piece (diced)
  • garlic: 2 clove (sliced)
  • basil leaves: 0.25 cup (chopped, fresh)
  • olive oil: 2 Tbsp
  • balsamic vinegar: 1 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper: (to taste)
  • French baguette: 1 piece (sliced)

  1. Preheat broiler to high and arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
