Cod liver pate is a great appetizer and it is not as fat as compared to the salad with cod liver. The dish is easy to cook and the sandwiches with the pate will become the highlight of your festive table. Take your time to cook the dish right away!

Ingredients

  • cod liver : 1 piece (canned)
  • egg : 1 piece (boiled)
  • potato : 1 piece (boiled)
  • onion : 1 piece
  • hard cheese : 20 g (grated)
  • mustard : 1 tsp

Stages of cooking

  1. Chop the onion and add mustard.

  2. Pour the onion with hot boiling water.

  3. Leave for 2 minutes and strain the water. Let the sauce cool down. This is one of the best ways to marinate onion.

  4. Mash the cod liver with a fork and mix it with onion.

  5. Make the potato puree, grate the cheese and mix it with the liver.

  6. Grate the eggs and mix them with the pate.
