Ingredients
- olive oil: 5 tsp
- shallots: 4 piece (diced)
- bacon: 1 pound (cut into strips)
- onion: 1 piece (cut into thin strips)
- clove garlic: 1 piece (chopped)
- dry fettuccine pasta: 1 pack (16 ounce pack)
- Parmesan cheese: 0.75 cup (shredded)
- heavy cream: 0.5 cup
- egg yolks: 3 piece
- salt and pepper: (to taste)

Heat olive oil in a large heavy saucepan over medium heat. Sauté shallots until softened. Stir in bacon and onion; cook and stir until bacon is evenly browned. Stir in garlic when bacon is about half done. Remove from heat.
