Focaccia is easier to make at home than you think with this easy recipe that has lots of herbs and lots of flavor! My family loves this bread when I bake it with shredded cheese on top.
Ingredients
- ¾ cups all-purpose flour: 2 piece
- active dry yeast: 1 Tbsp
- salt: 1 tsp
- white sugar: 1 tsp
- garlic powder: 1 tsp
- oregano: 1 tsp (dried)
- thyme: 1 tsp (dried)
- basil: 0.5 tsp (dried)
- pinch ground black pepper: 1 piece
- water: 1 cup
- vegetable oil: 1 Tbsp
- olive oil: 2 Tbsp
- mozzarella: 1 cup
- Parmesan cheese: 1 Tbsp (grated)

Lightly oil a large bowl; place the dough in the bowl and turn to coat with oil. Cover with a clean, damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.

Punch dough down and place on prepared baking sheet. Pat into a 1/2 inch thick rectangle. Brush top with olive oil and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios

Bake in the preheated until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
