“Mojito” is one of the most popular alcoholic cocktails in the world. It is very refreshing, delicious and contains the ingredients that make the drink so popular. If you would like to learn how to make the cocktail without leaving the comfort of your home, this recipe is exactly what you need!

  • mint: 1 bunch
  • lemonade: 0.5 litre
  • lime: 1 piece (or lemon)
  • ice: 20 g
  • sugar: 5 tsp
  • white rum: 50 ml (or whiskey)

Take a bunch of mint and press it in your hands a bit. You can also tear it into pieces and put into the cups you will serve your “Mojito” in.

Cut the lime into halves. If you don’t have lime at hand, you can use lemon, but the taste will be a bit different. Cut one half of your lime into semi-circles and squeeze fresh juice from the second half into the cups.

Add sugar (2-3 teaspoons into each cup). You can add more or less sugar depending upon your taste and preferences. Then add lime pieces and mix them well with sugar and lime.

Add ice cubes and white rum into the cups as well.  You can replace white rum with whiskey if needed, but the original recipe involves white rum. Keep that in mind.

Pour lemonade into the cups and decorate your homemade “Mojito” with mint leaves. Enjoy!
