This käsespätzle, also spelled kaese spaetzle, is a tasty homemade pasta tossed with onion and Emmentaler cheese. It's a German version of macaroni and cheese.
Ingredients
- ½ cups all-purpose flour: 1 piece
- ground nutmeg: 0.75 tsp
- salt: 0.75 tsp
- pepper: 0.125 tsp
- eggs: 3 piece
- ⅜ cup 2% milk:
- butter: 3 Tbsp
- ½ cups shredded Emmentaler cheese: 1 piece
- onion: 1 piece (sliced)
