If you like tender collard greens, you will love this recipe. The bacon and onions give them a wonderful flavor. Add more red pepper for more kick!

Ingredients

  • olive oil: 1 Tbsp
  • slices bacon: 3 piece
  • onion: 1 piece (chopped)
  • garlic: 2 clove (minced)
  • collard greens: 1 pound (cut into 2-inch pieces, fresh)
  • chicken broth: 3 cups
  • salt: 1 tsp
  • pepper: 1 tsp
  • pinch red pepper flakes: 1 piece
