New potatoes stewed in a crock pot will surprise you and your family members by the fantastic taste and unforgettable aroma! The recipe is simple and contains healthy ingredients you can always find in a fridge!
Ingredients
- new potatoes: 500 g (small, cut into 2 or 4 pieces)
- onion: 1 piece (big, cut into circles)
- parsley: 2 piece (can be replaced with thymes)
- chicken broth: 160 ml
- vinegar: 2 tsp
- butter: 1 Tbsp
- olive oil: 1 Tbsp (extra virgin)
- salt: 0.5 tsp
- black pepper: 0.5 tsp
- Dijon mustard: 1 tsp
- lettuce: 1 piece
- orange: 1 piece
- apple juice: 80 ml

Cook the sauce for the marinade. Mix Dijon mustard, wine vinegar, 1 tsp of grated orange citron, 2 tbsp of orange juice, salt, balck pepper and extra virgin olive oil. Then peel the orange and cut it into several pieces. Cut the lettuce as you wish.

Heat the large frying pan, add butter and olive oil, wait for 15-20 seconds. Add potatoes and fry for 7-10 minutes until it becomes “golden”. Put the potatoes into the crock pot.

Fry the onion circles in a frying pan for 5 minutes, add 2 tsp of wine vinegar, chicken broth, 1.2 tsp of salt. Stir everything well, add the mixture into the crock pot, cover the device and stew for 1.5 hours at HIGH regime until the potatoes are half-ready.

Add lettuce and continue cooking at HIGH regime for 1 more hour until all the vegetables are ready.

Take the serving dish, pour your sauce into it, add the vegetables, stir everything well. Then add orange pieces and stir everything once again.
