Stages of cooking
-
Take a deep bowl and blend sugar, flour and salt in it. Add butter and keep blending to get the mixture that looks like coarse meal.
-
Gradually, add 3 tablespoons of water to make the dough sticky.
-
Knead the dough and wrap it into kitchen film. Place into the fridge for about 1 hour.
-
Then take the dough out from the fridge and roll it out to form a round disk. Spread it across the round baking form and do not forget to form thick edges. Poke holes in the bottom of the tart with a sharp fork and leave it in the fridge for one hour.
-
Pre-heat the oven to 200 C (around 400 F) and bake the base of the tart for 25-30 minutes until it becomes light golden.
-
Now, let’s cook peanut butter. For this purpose, just blend peanuts with 0.5 teaspoons of salt for about 5 minutes to get a smooth mass. Keep the peanut butter in a fridge.
-
It is high time to cook chocolate ganache now! Chop the chocolate into small pieces and put it into a bowl.
-
Cream the butter to make it soft and leave it aside for a while. Now, boil the heavy cream on small fire and pour it over the chopped chocolate. Mix the chocolate mass with the cream and let the mass cool down for a couple of minutes. Then add butter and mix everything once again. Your chocolate ganache should be glossy and smooth.
-
Mix chocolate ganache with the same amount of peanut butter. Leave the mass aside.
-
Now, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan on medium fire. Add milk, sugar and boil for 2 minutes, while stirring the mass.
-
Then remove the mass from fire, add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and vanilla extract. Mix with 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar. You can make it more liquid by adding milk. Let the mass cool down a bit.
-
Pour the mass on the bottom of the tart. Then spoon the layer of peanut butter and the layer of chocolate ganache. If it is too firm, you can melt it a bit in a microwave oven.
-
Decorate the top of the tart to your liking and enjoy its fantastic taste!
