This is a decadent lobster bisque that is surprisingly easy to prepare. Your guests will be impressed and feel pampered. Serve this delicious soup with hot, buttered bread.

Ingredients

  • butter: 3 Tbsp
  • fresh mushrooms: 0.25 cup (chopped)
  • onion: 2 Tbsp (chopped)
  • celery: 2 Tbsp (chopped)
  • carrot: 2 Tbsp (chopped)
  • chicken broth: 1 can (14.5 ounce can)
  • salt: 0.125 tsp
  • cayenne pepper: 0.125 tsp
  • ½ cups half-and-half: 1 piece
  • dry white wine: 0.5 cup
  • lump lobster meat: 0.5 pound (cooked)

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add mushrooms, onion, celery, and carrot. Cook and stir until tender, about 10 minutes. Dotdash Meredith Food Studios
