- corn flour : 200 g
- salt : 0.5 tsp
- Hot boiling water : 300 ml
- onion : 60 g
- olive oil : 20 ml
- dill : 10 g
- parsley : 10 g
- baking powder : 0.5 tsp
Stages of cooking
Sift the flour, peel the onions and cut into cubes, wash the herbs and chop not very finely. Boil and measure 300 ml of water.
Add salt and baking powder to sifted flour and mix with a whisk or spoon.
Pour in boiling water, mix gently and cover a bowl of dough with a towel. Leave for 20 minutes.
While the dough fits, brown the onions in vegetable oil for 4-5 minutes.
Add to the dough onions and herbs. Mix.
Divide the dough into 6 parts and form 6 fritters. If the dough turns out to be a little thin, it can be spread on the pan with a spoon and it can also be shaped into a flat cake - of small diameter so that it is easier to turn over. Preheat the pan over medium heat. Cook cakes on a dry pan.
Bake each cake for 3-5 minutes on each side.
