Stages of cooking
-
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
-
Lay the chicken breasts on a cutting board and carefully slice them lengthwise, creating a pocket to hold the cheese filling. Be sure not to cut all the way through.
-
In a small bowl, combine the crumbled Adygei cheese, dried thyme, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
-
Stuff each chicken breast with an equal amount of the cheese mixture. Press gently to seal the opening, ensuring the filling remains intact.
-
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the stuffed chicken breasts and sear them on each side for about 2 minutes, or until browned.
-
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F) and is cooked through.
-
Once cooked, remove the chicken breasts from the oven and allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving.
-
Slice the Adygei Cheese-Stuffed Chicken Breasts and serve them with your favorite side dishes or salad. Enjoy!
-
Note: Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts. It's recommended to use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is fully cooked.
