Ice cream is, probably, the most popular and delicious dessert both adults and kids are crazy about. It doesn’t matter, how old a person is – the taste of ice cream will always make his/her mouth water. This recipe of the avocado pistachio ice cream with chocolate sauce will become a perfect treat for your friends and family.
Ingredients
- avocado: 1.5 piece
- lemon juice: 0.5 Tbsp
- milk: 200 ml
- heavy cream: 0.75 cup
- cardamom: 1 pinch (dried)
- vanillin: 0.5 tsp
- sugar: 50 g
- pistachios: 50 g
- dark chocolate: 100 g (bittersweet)
- half-and-half: 0.5 cup

Mix avocado meat, lemon juice, 170 ml of milk, sugar, vanilla, half-and-half, cardamom in a blender. Blend to get smooth paste and then add 0.5 cup of heavy cream. Put the mass into a fridge for about 4-6 hours. Take an ice cream maker and put the mass inside it. Add pistachios and follow the recommendations specified in the user manual. As soon as the ice cream is ready, keep it in the fridge.

Now, let’s cook chocolate sauce. With this purpose, chop dark chocolate and put it into a small pot.

Place the pot on low fire, add the rest of heavy cream and milk. Whisk the ingredients, while they are melting.
