Baby corn fritters is a traditional Indian dish, which is generally taken with green chutney or tomato chili sauce. The dish is usually served as a snack. It takes less than 10 minutes to cook it. What else do you need to cook a healthy and delicious snack?
Ingredients
- baby corn: 1 cup
- gram flour: 4 Tbsp
- rice flour: 2 Tbsp (or corn flour)
- chili powder: 0.5 tsp
- turmeric powder: 0.25 tsp
- Garam Masala: 0.25 tsp
- pepper powder: 0.25 tsp
- asafoetida: 0.25 tsp
- oil: 2 cup (for deep frying)
- salt: 0.5 tsp (to your taste)
- water: 1 Tbsp (or as much as needed)

Wash baby corn and cut it into strips. Add rice flour, gram flour, salt, red chili pepper, turmeric powder, garam masala, asafoetida, water and pepper powder. Mix the ingredients well to get smooth batter and prevent the formation of lumps. Now, add baby corn strips and mix them well with the batter.

Take a frying pan and heat oil in it. Deep fry the baby corn strips on medium fire until they become crispy.

Drain the fried baby corn strips on paper towels to get rid of excess oil.
