- cod fillets : 900 g (skinless)
- salt : 1 pinch (to your taste)
- Ritz crackers : 34 piece
- unsalted butter : 5 Tbsp
- lemon : 0.25 piece (sliced for garnish)
- parsley : 3 piece (for garnish)
Stages of cooking
Prior to baking the cod, pre-heat the oven to 190 C (350 F) first. Grease a small baking pan with butter or pour oil inside. Rinse off the cod fillets and dry them with paper towels.
Remove pin bones and be very attentive during the process. You can also cut the fillets into pieces. Put the pieces on the bottom of the baking pan and dredge with salt a bit.
Now, melt the butter and crush the crackers into another bowl. Mix the breadcrumbs you have got and the melted butter. Roll the cod fillets in the crumb mixture.
Bake in the pre-heated oven for about 20 minutes or more depending upon the thickness of the fillets. Serve warm with parsley and lemon! Enjoy!
