Bananas foster is made by cooking sliced bananas and walnuts in a buttery rum sauce and serving it over vanilla ice cream. A Father's Day favorite we all love!
Ingredients
- butter: 0.25 cup
- dark brown sugar: 0.66667 cup
- ½ tablespoons rum: 3 piece
- ½ teaspoons vanilla extract: 1 piece
- ground cinnamon: 0.5 tsp
- bananas, peeled and sliced lengthwise and crosswise: 3 piece
- walnuts: 0.25 cup (coarsely chopped)
- pint vanilla ice cream: 1 piece

Melt butter in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, rum, vanilla, and cinnamon; bring to a low boil.
