Blue cheese burgers aren't just basic hamburgers — they're a real treat, and the wise cook will make up a dozen or so for the freezer. If you like blue cheese, you'll never forget these burgers.

Ingredients

  • lean ground beef: 3 pound
  • fresh chives: 0.5 cup (minced)
  • ounces blue cheese, crumbled: 4 piece
  • ½ teaspoons salt: 1 piece
  • Worcestershire sauce: 1 tsp
  • coarsely ground black pepper: 1 tsp
  • dry mustard: 1 tsp
  • hot pepper sauce: 0.25 tsp
  • hamburger buns: 12 piece (split)

  1. Mix ground beef, chives, blue cheese, salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, mustard, and hot pepper sauce together in a large bowl until well combined. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
