Ingredients
- hot water: 0.25 cup
- brown sugar: 2 Tbsp
- ½ fluid ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice: 1 piece
- ½ fluid ounces bourbon whiskey: 1 piece
- triple sec: 0.5 fl oz
- ice: 3 cups (divided, or as needed)
- fluid ounces club soda: 2 piece
- lemon slice: 1 piece

Combine hot water and brown sugar in a cocktail shaker. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add lemon juice, bourbon, triple sec, and 1 cup of ice. Cover and shake until chilled, 15 to 20 seconds.
