This caprese salad features tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil drizzled with a sweet balsamic reduction and olive oil. Easy, impressive, and delicious! Most grocery stores now sell prepared balsamic reductions. Surprisingly it's just as good!

Ingredients

  • balsamic vinegar: 1 cup
  • honey: 0.25 cup
  • tomatoes: 3 piece (cut into 1/2 inch slices)
  • mozzarella cheese: 1 pack (16 ounce pack, cut into 1/4 inch slices, fresh)
  • salt: 0.25 tsp
  • ground black pepper: 0.25 tsp
  • basil leaves: 0.5 cup (fresh)
  • olive oil: 0.25 cup
