A nice-flavored light rye loaf with lots of caraway seeds. Sweetened with both brown sugar and molasses. Allow to cool before slicing.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups lukewarm water (100 degrees F/38 degrees C): 1 piece
  • dry milk powder: 2 Tbsp
  • salt: 1 tsp
  • brown sugar: 2 Tbsp
  • molasses: 2 Tbsp
  • butter: 2 Tbsp
  • whole wheat flour: 0.75 cup
  • ¾ cups bread flour: 1 piece
  • rye flour: 0.75 cup
  • ½ tablespoons caraway seeds: 1 piece
  • ¾ teaspoons active dry yeast: 1 piece
