A simple charoset recipe for the traditional Passover staple. I always make a great deal extra to munch on for days! Mixture will turn the appropriate shade of brown to look like the mortar which it represents.
Ingredients
- Granny Smith apples, peeled and coarsely: 2 piece (grated)
- walnuts, finely ground: 1 cup
- grape juice: 2 Tbsp
- honey: 2 tsp
- ground cinnamon: 1 tsp

Mix apples, walnuts, grape juice, honey, and cinnamon together in a bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, 8 hours to overnight.
