This chicken pot pie is very delicious and unusual. It is easy and quick to cook and consists of simple ingredients you always have in your fridge or can buy in the nearest supermarket. The idea of the pie is very interesting. Hopefully, you will enjoy cooking it!
Ingredients
- chicken broth: 100 ml
- chicken fillet: 1 kg
- mixed vegetables: 0.5 kg (frozen)
- onion: 2 piece
- carrots: 4 piece
- flour: 200 g
- butter: 100 g
- water: 4 Tbsp (cold)
- hard cheese: 50 g
- egg: 1 piece
- salt: 1 tsp
- spices: 1 tsp (any you like)

Get the ingredients ready for the cooking process to save your time and effort.

Boil the chicken until it is half ready, drain the broth and cut the chicken meat into pieces. Fry chopped carrot, onion and chicken meat on butter in the frying pan.

Add frozen vegetables, chicken broth, salt and spices and mix everything well. Stew for about 10 minutes.

Now, let’s cook the dough. Mix salt, flour, soft butter well and add 1 tablespoon of water. Continue mixing the dough, slightly adding water. This is how you will get soft dough.

Butter a baking form, spoon the chicken topping, dredge it with grated hard cheese and cover with the dough. Pinch the edges of the pie, make cross-cuts with a fork and cover with the egg.

Bake in the pre-heated to 200 C (392 F) oven for about 20-30 minutes. Enjoy the pie!
