Kick up the heat when you serve these fantastic nachos.

Ingredients

  • plum tomatoes: 3 piece (chopped)
  • red or white onion: 0.33333 cup (finely chopped)
  • fresh cilantro: 0.33333 cup (chopped)
  • lime: 1 piece
  • corn tortilla chips: 12 cups
  • HORMEL® Chili With Beans: 1 can (15 ounce can)
  • pitted ripe olives: 1 can (chopped, 2.25 ounce can, sliced, optional)
  • colby or Monterey Jack cheese: 3 cups (shredded)
  • jalapeno Chili (or more to taste): 1 piece (sliced, fresh, optional)

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. In bowl, mix together tomatoes, onion and cilantro. Squeeze lime into the tomato mixture and toss until blended.

  2. Arrange a single layer of chips on heatproof platter or baking sheet. Top with spoonfuls of chili, tomato mixture, olives and cheese. Add jalapeno slices, if desired. Repeat layers until all the ingredients are used.

  3. Bake 15 minutes or until cheese is completely melted. Serve nachos hot.
