- white sugar: 1 cup
- light corn syrup: 1 cup
- unsalted butter: 0.5 cup
- eggs: 4 piece
- Bourbon: 0.25 cup
- vanilla extract: 1 tsp
- salt: 0.25 tsp
- ounces semisweet chocolate chips: 6 piece
- pecans: 1 cup (chopped)
- pie shell: 1 piece (9 inch)

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees F).

Heat sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and cool slightly, about 5 minutes.
