A delicious chocolate apple cake. Apples add moistness to the spicy chocolate batter and chocolate chips further enhance the flavor.

Ingredients

  • butter: 1 cup (softened)
  • white sugar: 2 cups
  • eggs: 3 piece
  • water: 0.5 cup
  • vanilla extract: 1 Tbsp
  • ½ cups all-purpose flour: 2 piece
  • unsweetened cocoa powder: 2 Tbsp
  • baking soda: 1 tsp
  • ground cinnamon: 1 tsp
  • ground nutmeg: 1 tsp
  • apples - peeled, cored and: 2 cups (diced)
  • semisweet chocolate chips: 1 cup

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9- or 10-inch tube pan.

  2. Cream butter with sugar in a large bowl. Beat in eggs, then add water and vanilla.
