My family makes these Christmas peanut butter balls every year. They're one of our favorite holiday cookie recipes. The maple flavoring is the key ingredient!
Ingredients
- butter: 0.25 cup
- ½ cups peanut butter: 1 piece
- confectioners' sugar: 4 cups
- vanilla extract: 1 tsp
- maple flavored extract: 1 tsp
- semisweet chocolate chips: 2 cups

Combine the butter, peanut butter, confectioners' sugar, vanilla and maple flavoring. Cream well and knead well.

Melt the chocolate chips over low heat. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls. Dip into melted chocolate chips.

Refrigerate overnight (or at least for about 15 minutes) on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
