Stages of cooking
-
Pour semolina with yoghurt and leave on the table overnight. Dissolve 1 teaspoon of sugar and yeast in warm water. Add warm milk, one glass of flour, mix the ingredients, cover the bowl and leave for about 30-40 minutes.
-
Pour the dried fruit with hot water, then chop them well. Remove the seeds (if any).
-
Take semolina and add the yeast mixture, eggs, salt, the rest of the sugar, soft butter and mix the ingredients well. Then add shredded coconut, vanillin, dried fruit and liqueur. Mix once again.
-
Add 5 glasses of flour or more depending upon the condition of the dough. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes. Then leave it in the bowl for one hour. If you wish, you may leave the dough in the fridge for the night.
-
Divide the dough into small round balls and make donuts. Dredge them with semolina on both sides, cover with the towel and leave for 1.5-2 hours.
-
Fry the donuts on both sides and put them on the paper towel to get rid of extra oil. Dredge with sugar powder before serving. Enjoy!
