  • ½ cups white sugar: 1 piece
  • brandy-based orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier®): 0.25 cup
  • orange juice: 1 cup
  • fresh ginger root: 1 Tbsp (minced)
  • orange zest: 1 Tbsp (grated)
  • cranberries: 4 cups (fresh)
  • toasted pecans: 0.5 cup (chopped)

  1. Bring sugar, orange liqueur, orange juice, ginger, and orange zest to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat; stir until sugar has dissolved.
