Ingredients
- ½ cups white sugar: 1 piece
- brandy-based orange liqueur (such as Grand Marnier®): 0.25 cup
- orange juice: 1 cup
- fresh ginger root: 1 Tbsp (minced)
- orange zest: 1 Tbsp (grated)
- cranberries: 4 cups (fresh)
- toasted pecans: 0.5 cup (chopped)

Bring sugar, orange liqueur, orange juice, ginger, and orange zest to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat; stir until sugar has dissolved.
