This is a slightly healthier version of traditional chocolate chip cookies because margarine and cream cheese replace straight butter. They bake up moist and cake-like and have a delicious taste. I always gets rave reviews!
Ingredients
- cream cheese: 1 pack (8 ounce pack)
- margarine: 1 cup
- white sugar: 0.75 cup
- packed brown sugar: 0.75 cup
- egg: 1 piece
- vanilla extract: 1 tsp
- ½ cups all-purpose flour: 2 piece
- baking powder: 1 tsp
- salt: 0.5 tsp
- milk chocolate chips: 2 cups

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets and set aside.

Combine cream cheese, margarine, white sugar, and brown sugar. Blend in egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
