Ingredients
- potatoes, peeled and quartered: 5 pound
- butter: 0.25 cup
- garlic: 6 clove (minced)
- low-fat milk: 2 cups
- freshly grated Parmesan cheese: 1 cup
- fresh parsley: 0.25 cup (chopped)
- sea salt: 1 tsp
- ground black pepper: 0.5 tsp

Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, 20 to 25 minutes.
