Ingredients
- oz. of pasta (such as fettuccine or linguine): 12 piece
- olive oil: 2 Tbsp
- garlic: 3 clove (minced)
- oz. of mushrooms: 8 piece (sliced)
- heavy cream: 1 cup
- Parmesan cheese: 0.5 cup (grated)
- salt and pepper: (to taste)
- parsley or basil: (for garnish, fresh, optional)

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes or until fragrant.

Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes or until they are tender and golden brown.

Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Allow it to cook for 2-3 minutes or until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until it has melted and combined with the cream.
