This white chicken chili recipe is the best chili I have ever had. It is so delicious, and everyone raves about how good it tastes. Don't count on leftovers!

Ingredients

  • olive oil: 1 Tbsp
  • skinless, boneless chicken breast halves: 1 pound (cut into 1/2 inch cubes)
  • onion: 1 piece (chopped)
  • garlic: 2 clove (chopped)
  • Great Northern beans: 2 cans (15.5 ounce cans, drained)
  • chicken broth: 1 can (14.5 ounce can)
  • green Chilis: 2 cans (4 ounce cans, chopped)
  • salt: 1 tsp
  • ground cumin: 1 tsp
  • oregano: 1 tsp (dried)
  • ground black pepper: 0.5 tsp
  • cayenne pepper: 0.25 tsp
  • sour cream: 1 cup
  • heavy whipping cream: 0.5 cup

  1. Gather ingredients.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add chicken, onion, and garlic; cook and stir until chicken is no longer pink in the center and juices run clear, 10 to 15 minutes.

  3. Stir in beans, chicken broth, green chiles, salt, cumin, oregano, black pepper, and cayenne pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until flavors have blended, about 30 minutes.
