The sauce in this stroganoff recipe is loaded with mushrooms, onions, and ground beef. It's easy to make and reheats well. This recipe is a favorite in our house!

Ingredients

  • butter: 4 Tbsp (divided)
  • ounces fresh mushrooms: 6 piece (sliced)
  • medium onion: 1 piece (chopped)
  • egg noodles: 1 pack (12 ounce pack)
  • lean ground beef: 2 pound
  • all-purpose flour: 0.25 cup
  • beef broth: 2 cups
  • sour cream: 1 cup
  • salt and black pepper: (to taste)
