This is a quick recipe for beignets without yeast that do not require rolling or cutting. These are delicious served with chocolate sauce and powdered sugar, cinnamon-sugar, honey, or any other topping that you might use for donuts or waffles.

- all-purpose flour: 3 cups
- water: 1 cup
- milk: 1 cup
- egg: 1 piece
- baking powder: 2 Tbsp
- white sugar: 2 tsp
- salt: 1 tsp
- vegetable oil for frying: 3 cups
