French pumpkin soup is an excellent dish for those, who dream of weight loss and stick to the vegetarian diet. The soup tastes better, when eaten on the second day. Its fantastic aroma and taste will not leave you indifferent!

Ingredients

  • pumpkin: 500 g
  • potato: 300 g
  • onion: 1 piece (large)
  • celery: 50 g (optional)
  • oil: 1 Tbsp
  • milk: 1.5 cup
  • ginger: 1 Tbsp (dry or fresh)
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • black pepper: 1 pinch
  • Whole-wheat dry bread crumbs: 20 g

  1. Wash and peel the vegetables, remove the seeds from the pumpkin. Chop the onion and the pumpkin carefully.

  2. Take a pot with a thick bottom, warm up oil and fry the onion for about 3-4 minutes until it becomes transparent.
