A great recipe for fresh basil pesto with just the right amount of everything. Even my husband loves it!

Ingredients

  • packed fresh basil: 2 cups
  • extra-virgin olive oil: 0.5 cup
  • pine nuts: 0.25 cup (toasted)
  • garlic: 3 clove (peeled)
  • dash fresh lemon juice: 1 piece
  • freshly grated Pecorino Romano cheese: 0.5 cup
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper: (to taste)
