This peach cobbler recipe is something I've perfected over the years. It's loved by all. Use fresh Georgia peaches, of course!
Ingredients
- peaches - peeled, pitted and sliced into thin wedges: 8 piece (fresh)
- white sugar: 0.25 cup
- brown sugar: 0.25 cup
- ground cinnamon: 0.25 tsp
- ground nutmeg: 0.125 tsp
- lemon juice: 1 tsp (fresh)
- cornstarch: 2 tsp
- all-purpose flour: 1 cup
- white sugar: 0.25 cup
- brown sugar: 0.25 cup
- baking powder: 1 tsp
- salt: 0.5 tsp
- unsalted butter, chilled and: 6 Tbsp (cut into small pieces)
- boiling water: 0.25 cup
- white sugar: 3 Tbsp
- ground cinnamon: 1 tsp

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
