This peach cobbler recipe is something I've perfected over the years. It's loved by all. Use fresh Georgia peaches, of course!

Ingredients

  • peaches - peeled, pitted and sliced into thin wedges: 8 piece (fresh)
  • white sugar: 0.25 cup
  • brown sugar: 0.25 cup
  • ground cinnamon: 0.25 tsp
  • ground nutmeg: 0.125 tsp
  • lemon juice: 1 tsp (fresh)
  • cornstarch: 2 tsp
  • all-purpose flour: 1 cup
  • white sugar: 0.25 cup
  • brown sugar: 0.25 cup
  • baking powder: 1 tsp
  • salt: 0.5 tsp
  • unsalted butter, chilled and: 6 Tbsp (cut into small pieces)
  • boiling water: 0.25 cup
  • white sugar: 3 Tbsp
  • ground cinnamon: 1 tsp
