Stages of cooking
-
To make the batter for your waffles, take a deep bowl and whisk milk, melted butter, brown sugar, molasses and one egg in it. Take another bowl and mix dry ingredients in it. These are gluten-free flour, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, salt and baking powder. Right after that, mix dry and wet mixtures together to get a smooth mass.
-
Start pre-heating your waffle iron to medium heat. This will take around 5 minutes. Meanwhile, whisk the batter well and let it rest for a while.
-
Now, it is high time to cook the waffles. Spread melted butter across the surface of the waffle iron. Spoon the first portion of the batter.
-
Cook for about 3-5 minutes until the waffles become golden.
-
Cook the waffles until you have batter. Sprinkle them with powdered sugar and serve warm! Enjoy!
