Stages of cooking
-
Remove cardamom seeds from the shells. Grind them to get the powder, add a pinch of sugar.
-
Take a deep bowl and mix flour, ghee, salt, milk and 3 tablespoons of sugar cardamom powder in it.
-
Pour water and knead soft dough. As soon as the dough is ready, cover it with a towel or a lid and leave for about 15-20 minutes.
-
Sprinkle some flour on the kitchen counter and roll out the dough. Cut the dough into strips and then into diamond-shaped biscuits. Leave them on the table for about 5 minutes.
-
Now, take a frying pan, heat ghee and oil in it.
-
Deep fry on low or medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until the biscuits become golden or light brown.
-
As soon as the biscuits are ready, take them out of oil and drain on paper towels well to get rid of extra oil.
-
Sprinkle with powdered sugar cardamom and let the biscuits cool down well. Bon appétit!
